Can Breast Workouts Make Your Breasts Bigger and Perkier?

For many people, breast size matters. Small breasts can decrease a woman’s self-confidence and make her more self-conscious about her appearance. Unfortunately, some people take advantage of this insecurity. The market is flooded with miracle creams, pills, and workouts that claim to make your breasts perkier and bigger. If you search for how to increase breast size, you’ll find dozens of articles and videos promising to enhance your breast size through boob workouts.

But can a boob workout actually increase the size of your breasts? If this is the case, why do celebrities who regularly exercise have breast implants?

What Do Chest Workouts Do for Females?

Boob workouts have been popular among men and women for quite some time, but can they really increase the size of your boobs? We’re sorry to break it to you, but no amount of chest training will increase your breast size.

Just like weight training can increase the size and strength of your legs or arms muscle. Similarly, chest exercises like chest presses, pullovers, and flies can alter the shape, size, and strength of your chest muscles. However, a boob workout can only increase the size of pectoral muscles, which are located underneath the breasts, and modifying them doesn’t equate to enlarging your breasts.

The reason behind this is that the breast itself does not have muscles. They are comprised of tissues and fat, and no scientific notion states that boob workout increases tissue size in your body. That’s why you should let go of the idea of increasing your breast size by exercise.

But does that mean everyone on the internet is lying to you? Absolutely not, because the strengthening of pectoral muscles does give your breast a little push, but it is very little. It will not increase your cup size. To increase your breast size and make them perkier, you need breast augmentation.

What is Breast Augmentation?

Breast augmentation, sometimes known as augmentation mammoplasty or a “boob job”, is a cosmetic surgical treatment used to increase or symmetrize your breasts. It involves surgically inserting an implant or fat from your body behind each of your breasts. The implants are placed either below your chest muscles or beneath the tissue of your natural breasts.

Apart from simply increasing the breast size, this surgical procedure can also be used to restore breast volume that has been decreased due to weight loss or pregnancy, produce a more rounded breast shape, and correct natural breast asymmetry. But keep in mind that breast augmentation can not lift sagging breasts, for that, a breast lift is required.

Breast Augmentation Procedure

Your surgeon will insert your breast implants through one of three incisions:

  1. beneath your breast (inframammary)
  2. in the underarm (axillary)
  3. around the nipple (periareolar)

Your surgeon will next form a pocket by separating the tissue of your breast from the muscles and tissue of your chest. Your implants will be inserted into these pockets and centered behind your nipples.

If you choose saline implants, your surgeon will insert them empty and then fill them with sterile saline solution after the shell has been securely placed. However, if you pick silicone implants, they will already be filled.

After your implants have been properly placed, your surgeon will cover your wounds with stitches and bandage them with surgical tape and surgical glue. You will be observed in the recovery room before being allowed to go home once the anesthetic has worn off. 

After the procedure

After the surgery, swelling and pain may linger for a few weeks. Scars will significantly lighten up with time but will not vanish completely. 

During the healing process, wearing a comparison band or sports bra will help support and position your implants. You should also follow your surgeon’s recommendations before resuming normal activities. If your employment is not physically demanding, you may be able to return to work in a few weeks. For at least two weeks, avoid intense activity – anything that might elevate your pulse or blood pressure. Remember that your breasts will be sensitive to physical touch or jarring motions while you’re healing.

However, if you feel warmth, notice redness in your breasts, or have a fever, you need to see your surgeon immediately, as these symptoms can be signs of infection

A boob workout can never increase your breast size. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have the body you want. Breast augmentation is the perfect solution for you if you want to increase your cup size and have perkier breasts while improving your self-confidence and eliminating your insecurities. 

But remember to be realistic with your expectations and don’t expect perfection. Following augmentation, your breasts will continue to age, and an increase or decrease in weight may alter the appearance of your breasts. If you are unhappy with the look of your breasts years after your first augmentation, you may require further surgery to fix these flaws.
