Forever BARE BBL™ uses Broad Band Light to deliver photo-thermal energy to hair follicles resulting in long term hair removal. The Photo-thermal energy causes the hair follicle to stop producing hair. The results from Forever BARE BBL™ depends on the number of treatments, hair density, skin color, hair color, and hair thickness. Most patients require 5-6 treatments. Treatments are scheduled 4-6 weeks apart in order to treat hair in the growth stage. Hair follicles in the dormant stage do not respond to BBL™, so the treatment schedule is designed to catch all hair follicles while they are in active state.
Forever BARE BBL – The Most Comfortable & Safest Hair Removal Option
The discomfort from Forever BARE BBL™ is mild. The Sciton® Forever BARE BBL™ has a cooling system to help soothe the skin during the treatment. Patients are advised to wear SPF 30 sunscreen after the treatment. There is essentially no downtime with Forever BARE BBL™. Patients are able to shave in between treatments, waxing should be avoided.
The most common areas treated with Forever BARE BBL™ are the underarms, legs, bikini area, back, chest, and face. Any area of your body can be treated. Because the BBL™ is attracted to pigment, Blonde/Light hair cannot be treated effectively. Fitzpatrick skin type 6 cannot be treated as well.
